Fair trade in a nutshell

Fair trade is aimed to reduce the inequalities in the world and to encourage economic and social development in developing countries.

Fair trade today allows more than 5 million families to gain a respectable living and this number continues to grow thanks to our contributions.

According to TransFair Canada, the sales of  Fair Trade products have been growing at more than 55% annually since 2001. The sales of certified products went from
8,5 to 47 million $ in Canada between 2001 and 2005.
More than 3 out 4 Canadians are now aware of Fair Trade.

You already know fair-trade handcraft, coffee, cocoa-based products, tea, sugar and rice.

Now is the time to take a step forward and actually wear the organic and Fair Trade clothes!
